For this stage production of The Pirates of Penzance, I presented production research along with multiple design styles and options. I provided character research and boards, along with sketches and final renderings. I realized the main character's first look. I designed this for a local middle school production of The Pirates of Penzance using a minimalistic historical design style with steampunk influence. I was asked to help the theater department of a local middle school restart its spring musical after it was abruptly ended due to COVID-19. Due to the low budget, I designed the costumes using easily accessible base pieces that the students provided with accessories and top clothing that would be built or purchased. The production was unfortunately canceled due to a lack of administrative support.
