I designed costumes for a screen production of Reefer Madness. I provided character research, costume designs, sketches, and renderings for leads as well as chorus numbers. I sourced fabrics and provided a scenic breakdown outlining costume needs and changes. This production of Reefer Madness was set in the southern USA states in the 1940s, made up primarily of an African American cast. I designed this project with a strong focus on highlighting a variety of body shapes and sizes. Considerations were also made in choosing a color palette highlighting the actor's skin tones while also working with lighting and fabric choices to achieve the desired design result.
